Hillcrest Pride Parade 2025

We’re also thrilled to announce that we’ll be marching in the upcoming Pride Parade in HillcrestThis marks our second year of participation, and we couldn’t be more excited to build on the incredible experience we have had in the past. Our inaugural march was not only a powerful show of solidarity with our LGBTQ+ students, families, faculty, and staff, but also a fantastic marketing opportunity—we proudly wore school-branded gear, and we even made the news!Â
This year, along with members of our high school GSA, we are joined by fellow Waldorf schools – Sanderling Waldorf School, The Waldorf Institute of Southern California and Sparrow Academy – in a beautiful show of unity and support!
*this is an adult/young adult oriented event and we recommend leaving your littles at home.
Open to all community members of The Waldorf School of San Diego, The Waldorf Institute of Southern California, Sparrow Academy and Sanderling Waldorf School!
Waldorf Pride Gear
We have an “official” delegation shirt that marchers will be wearing. The front design is made by c/o 2025 senior, Aili Buescher. The back lists all the Waldorf schools participating in the walk. Whether you are able to join us or not, you have the opportunity to show your support with a shirt.
20% of the proceeds of these Waldorf Pride shirt sales will to back to supporting our Waldorf schools’ GSA programs!
