The Reason
This special evening is for all of us to be in community and celebrate a wonderful school year.
This evening is also about supporting our school and the students who learn here every day. Funds raised at the gala help strengthen our campus through improvements and resources, expand scholarship opportunities so more families can access a Waldorf education, and sustain the programs that make this community so special. Your presence helps nurture a place where creativity, curiosity, and human connection can continue to flourish.
The Venue & Food
We’re Glad You Can Make It!
Join us Sunday, March 22 at Lou Lou’s inside the historic Lafayette Hotel for a night of amazing food, unforgettable drinks, and great community.
The bar will be in the expert hands of the award-winning bartending team from Consortium Holdings, the creative force behind some of San Diego’s most celebrated cocktail programs. Their venues and bartenders have earned national recognition from the James Beard Awards, the Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards, and Imbibe Magazine’s Imbibe 75 list.
And the setting couldn’t be more iconic. The Lafayette Hotel, built in 1946, has long been one of San Diego’s cultural landmarks — once hosting Hollywood legends like Frank Sinatra, Ava Gardner, and Bob Hope during the golden age of the city. After a stunning $31 million restoration, the hotel has received major accolades including Esquire Magazine’s 2024 “Hotel of the Year,” recognition from the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards, induction into Historic Hotels of America, and a MICHELIN Key distinction.
Today, Lou Lou’s continues that legacy as one of the city’s vibrant live music spaces, bringing jazz and supper-club energy back to a venue that has long been part of San Diego’s nightlife story.
And of course… the food.
Lou Lou’s kitchen will be serving a delicious spread including charcuterie, squash blossom, eggplant schnitzel, saffron risotto, and more — the perfect pairing for an evening of celebration.
We are so excited and grateful to be able to hold our event – for a third year in a row – at Lou Lou’s!
Come raise a glass, enjoy incredible flavors, and support our school community.
We can’t wait to celebrate with you. 🥂
